Minority Helping Hands was established in February 2021 to fight the lingering effects of the pandemic on the social welfare of the local community. However, our roots run deeper than that. We initially started by helping the COVID-19 victims from a small desk in the most severely hit neighborhoods in our region. This was in June 2020. At the time, we were only offering food and other essential items like health and hygiene items to families who lost their livelihood in the wake of the pandemic. Since then, we have expanded our reach and are now also assisting homeless individuals and families find a decent shelter.
